Del Mar

A surfer’s paradise located just outside of San Diego

Del Mar is one of the better-known residential areas nestled along the North San Diego County coast. Located only 20 miles north of San Diego, Del Mar is unique in its offering of a vibrant small-town atmosphere, a natural playground located along the Pacific Ocean, and a casual upscale vibe.

First renowned during the golden era of film and television, Del Mar was the retreat for Hollywood’s biggest movie stars who came to enjoy its laid-back ambiance, gorgeous beaches, and thoroughbred horse racing. Today, the historic Del Mar Village attracts residents and visitors from across the globe seeking peace, breathtaking sunsets, fantastic cliff-side hiking, and award-winning cuisine with spectacular ocean views.

It’s no shock that Del Mar is Spanish for “by the sea,” since the Pacific Ocean is easily the most picturesque part of this coastal town!
